I've seen it - earlier this year. It's pretty good, and there are plenty of worse ways to spend $100/person in Vegas.

However, I'd say it's a ways down my list of shows to see in Vegas.

Any of the Cirque du Soleil shows is better, IMHO. I think 'Ka' is the best show I've ever seen. Just flat amazing, and leaves you feeling like you've seen something totally unique. 'O' is the other contender in that category. 'Zumanity' is very good, but not for the easily offended, and best seen with your sweetie. 'Mystere' is a classic excellent Cirque show. 'Love' is top-notch if you're a Beatles fan, and pretty good if not.

Blue Man Group is the other 'must see' show in Vegas, IMHO.

I'd put 'Le Reve' behind all those, in terms of 'best bets'...

Don't get me wrong - it's a good show. I enjoyed myself, clapped, and was impressed and even breathless at several points. If you just walked in and saw it, you'd likely be blown away.

However, the competition in Las Vegas shows is phenomenal, and Le Reve is up against some of the finest entertainment on the planet, and if you're making choices about where to put your dollars, you can do better at the same price.

    Hey Deanster,

Thanks for the review. You've hit on most of the shows that interest me. Have seen Mystere a long time ago and have been wanting to see 'O', but never got around to it. Was curious if this would be on par with it, or at least close.

For some reason, I ended up on Steve Wynn's mailing list. Don't know how, never do the Player's Club, move around too much from table to table, pit to pit, casino to casino. Anyway, Wynn Las Vegas sent me a package deal for three nights of an upgraded Encore Resort Suite King and two tickets to Le Reve.

I think I'm going to bite.

Thanks again for the great review.

gotcha. In that context, it seems like a good deal. I like the Wynn/Encore setup quite well, though the clientele is very European - Some BEAUTIFUL women wandering that place, and some seriously ******y guys with them.

Free tix to Le Reve are certainly worth using. It's a good show. IMHO, you should try to seat as close to the front as possible, in the 'splash zone' - you'll get a little wet, but it feels MUCH closer to and more involved with the show.

And you might get dripped on by a beautiful water nymph.
