    Any view camera fans?

I'd love to get into it. Having a hard time deciding which is 'more important' to me. Saving up for a VC setup or a Nikon D200.

    choices, choices. :)

I used one [insert a number larger than 25] years ago. I loved the quality. However, the power of digital darkroom is something I will not give up, so, while I would like to own a view camera again, I would do so only on condition that I could afford a proper digital back to go with it, and that is a very expensive proposition.

Have you ever used a View Camera? You could start out with a Speed Graphic or Graflex or something like that. I am going to get back into it at some point. I used a 4x5 professionally for many years and an 8x10 just for fun many years as well. I really enjoy working in the darkroom, making my own chemistry and tweaking all the ingredients to get slightly different results. I really like using Pyro on 8x10 HP-5. I miss the smell of fix.
