Today I went in to add a couple recent purchases to my CCW. I walked in, got the usual spiel (no I'm not carrying a weapon), got a number and barely had a chance to sit down before my number was called. I got in the door at about 2:20pm, got called about 2:22, and walked back out with my receipt in hand by 2:30pm. I'm not entirely sure why but the entire place was pretty empty, maybe 10 customers waiting.

Hopefully after the next session we won't have to go through this crap every time we buy a new gun.

Let us know how long it takes to get your new permit. Last time I did this it took about half an hour at Cammoroon St. and about two weeks to get the new permit.

my dad put his app in back in the end of may and just got his permit this past week, so it seems like it may be back down to about a 45 day period.

That's funny, I had the exact same experience on Thursday the 10th. I was in at 10 AM, grabbed my number and they were calling it as I walked in the second set of doors. No chance to sit down even. In and out in under 5 minutes for an add-on. Left me enough time to stop by Citadel on the way home and buy a new safe.

I got my safe at Citadel as well...I got the $2500 one...but didn't pay that much. I gotta say that Dave is an awesome guy to deal with and I've spent more than my fair share of $$ there.

Mine just arrived yesterday. I blame the extra couple days on a paperwork snafu with my instructor and the ccw detail.

-Arrived in my mailbox today, August 7, 2008.

Time from application to permit in hands, exactly 30 days. Not having to wait 120 days........Priceless!
