if u load "zesty" loads, pushing for max velocity, buy a good aftermarket barrel. if u are loading normal stuff, not going over max load data and seating bullets at proper OAL, the stock barrel will work fine.
check out KABOOOM!! in general glocking. not due to lack of barrel support. pistol kb'd due to improper loading. high pressure,due to double charge, or incorrect oal. notice the primer has almost popped out of the case. good sign of overchage. always work loads up slowly examine cases for sings of high pressures and pay attention. try to use a powder that fills the case at least half full, then if u double charge it is real obvious. thats just my 2 cents though.
