    I did a web search and several dealers came up with KSG Kel Tec Shotguns in stock.

    Anyone have one with personal experience to share?

    No experience with it; however, I checked out the video of it on the Kel Tec web site and was impressed. I want one.

    I see some flaws. The tube switch over is awkward. Reloading is super awkward and near impossible under stress. Great idea not perfect execution.

    Still not sure the KSGs are truly out, they may just be taking pre orders.

    The switching between tubes I think can be over come with practice and training.

    Having 14+1 in a very compact package is a huge plus in my book.

    Just have to wait and see when they hit the streets to see if they will be worth the money.

    If you are still under stress and worried about reloading after dispensing 14+1 rounds of 12 gauge payload, I'm thinkin' having a shotgun is NOT going to be your biggest problem. I'd be lookin' for your Tactical Bible!

    Just sayin'.

    Not nearly as awkward as stuffing more shells into a tube. You probably haven't handled one, how do you know reloading is 'near impossible under stress'?

    I have. It's not as familiar as the conventional SG's but just like with all things new, practice and training, it can be overcome. My biggest concern is that alot of folks who handled/shot the KSG (pre-production) seem to jam it somehow/someway....and these folks range from experienced shotgun/firearms shooters, LEO, and regular enthusiasts. Pumping the forend, particularly with a VFG, requires discipline and commitment....

    FWIW, I'm actually more fond of these pics....

    I'm calling your bluff...pics?:whistling::wavey:

    In all seriousness, the one thing IMHO the KSG has over others I have tested is the capacity/dual tube magazine and selector. The form/function of the KSG is OK. I have also played with a Rem 870 bullpup conversion kit and it works just as well if not better in terms of form and function.

    I like the looks of it a lot. If these prove to be reliable, I may just have to get one if for no other reason than for fun at the range.

    Well, I do have a few of those but that is for my private collection. I will say that Halloween weekend at Twin Peaks is always a nice environment to watch UFC. :supergrin:

    Oops sorry back to the KSG. I still haven't seen one for sale so I guess KelTec is a bit behind on their release but not by much. The one I handled at ShotShow was nice and they were receptive to feedback from others to make improvments to the prototype. We'll see.................

    Until the KSG is reliable, affordable and available, I'm going the 870 Bullpup route: http://www.bullpupunlimited.com/order
