Hi folks, learned a lot from the pros here, first post! Bought a 6" KKM barrel today for my 17 - awesome. Did a search and found out KKM is out of Carson City, NV which is just 40 miles from home. Really good man runs the shop named Kevin, highly recommend him. Anyway, 100 rounds today without a failure and don't expect any. Nice long distance shooting @ 50 yards. Stoked! Kevin says he can thread the end someday for $55.00. Next up some good sights. $165 for the 6", no tax, good people. Carry on.

Welcome phillet:wavey:. KKM make excellent barrels. I have a stock length KKM barrel for my G20 10mm and love it, very nicely made and accurate.

I have a KKM barrel in a G19RTF2 and it has run 100% from day one.

When my wife walked into the shop after me (typical machine shop - lathe, milling machine, drill press, parts all over the place etc.) she said to the owner "nice shop." He was floored! No woman had ever said that to him before. When we were leaving he said "you're a lucky man." That made my day. BTW, she bought it for my BD.:cake:
