The shield is a much better gun than the 43 But the sig p365 is the true king!

I have both, my 43 is carried 95% of the time. The Shields is still s good gun in my book but I just don't carry it much. Looks like I will pass it down to a Grandson some day. He likes my Shield. He keeps asking if I will give it to him. He's only 10 but quite a little shooter. Some day it will be his.

Glock was a day late and a round or two short to this party. Shield 9 is the gun Glock should have produced.

eta-I LOL'd at your use of "thumbs up".

When I need a single stack, I grab the shield.

Sig P365 is far superior to the G43 or the shield. Better conceal ability, trigger, 10+1 capacity and night sights. At the same price as the 43.

This is a joke - right? Shield by a mile. No brass to my head and the 357. Sig round. Ain't even close!

    I have 2
I have no need for another single stack nine at this time.
If Glock came to the party in time I would have a 43 probably.
I do have a shield in .40 and .45 and really like them.

Which one is the best? While both are fine weapons, for me, the shield wins hands down. And that's with the first generation shield. If the comparison was with the 2.0, or better yet, the Performance center shield, the gap gets much bigger fast.

    YMMV

I don't have either one, but I bet both are great pistols and will get the job done. I do have a waltherpps gen.1 now that's a great carry gun if you like single stack.

I had a 9 MM Shield and never a failure. Sold it to a good friend after buying a SIG 365.

Thank you all for your input! I just described how I felt and what was working for me. I am not biased. I own the shield and like it a lot. I just liked G43 better. Never shot the Sig, and would like to do it sometimes.
