I happened to be driving by the site of the former Kings Gun Works. I noticed an "open" sign on the door. It turns out that a new shop has opened at that location. It's called Kings Gun Armoury. Right now the shelves aren't really well stocked, but they are a friendly bunch. They do have a gunsmith on site, and the prices don't seem outragous. Wait time for smithing isn't insane either, yet. I spotted a rifle I've looked out for for sometime. I had an Remington Apache Black Nylon 66 as a kid. Gave it to a cousin when I went into the service. I have regretted it. Well they had one in excellent condition. I probably paid too much. I'm sure the shop would haggle, but when Laura saw the look in my eye, she knew I'd go full price. Didn't even try to haggle. Pick it up in nine days.
