i was just wondering if anyone else has noticed that some of the older 3rd gen frame's serial number tag on the bottom of the rail kind of sags. i am currently out of town so i cant get a picture of my 23c but i noticed it on this one and a 22 that i had but on my newer 32c and 27s they are nice and sucken into the frame. i dont know, it just kind of bugs me when i see it.

I think there are several million Glock pistols with a sagging S/N plate. They have been sunk in for less than 5 years. I don't remember exactly when it was changed. They also left off the "US" and turned the S/N plate around 180 degrees. Turn the gun on it's left side now to read it, the earlier ones, turn it to the right.

There are no dumb questions Jeremy.

Mine doesn't sag, but if it bugs you just take your slide off and look at how it's fastened into the frame just to make sure it doesn't appear to be in any danger of falling out. A gun with no serial number on it is very very illegal, and I couldn't blame anyone for wanting to check it out.

    Exactly.

And don't try to fix it either.....it's not legal to alter the serial number, and tampering with it, even though you're just trying to fix it, could be construed as altering it.
