Okay guys, here is my latest acquisition, a Kimber Classic Royal. It is in superb condition. The previous owner installed a Kimber ambi-safety.

Here it is with my Classic Gold Match

The serial numbers are only one digit off (the next to last number on the Gold Match is a "0" and the Royal is a "2"). I am now at Kimber #16 and 1911 #79.

Yep. The bars on an STI Trigger are parallel.

When did you start collecting them?

IIRC, it was about 3-4 years ago. I have to blame Brian for my addiction. I was awestruck by the different 1911s he had and it just seemed to me that these were worth collecting. So, I started collecting them and a bunch of other weapons. All totalled, I have 173 firearms. That does not count an old 20 ga. shotgun and a .22 Marlin rifle.
