I've always had a big question about, why NY? Hopefully, they can get back to making decent stuff, it hasn't inspired confidence as of late.

Hopefully they would like Alabama better than New York. I do.
    (no offense intended)

Maybe after moving out of NY, Kimber can make a gun as reliable as a Glock.

I owned one, and only one Kimber a number of years ago. It felt great in my hand and was truly almost a work of art. But I had constant FTF and FTE problems, despite returning this gun twice to Kimber and being told that it was fixed. I don't own any guns for just use at the range, other than 22 caliber pistols, and I had bought the Kimber for concealed carry. I ended up complaining enough to the dealer where I bought it that they bought it back from me. That was enough of Kimber for my liking.

But I do wish them well in their new location. I wonder why it took them until now to make this move as NY, under the tyranny of Cuomo and his Democrat majority in the state legislature, has been exceedingly anti-gun for many years.

Interesting... I have been attracted to Kimbers, but every time I've fired one, it has jammed. 3-4 different guns, from various friends. I'm not limp-wristing - I rarely experience any type of malfunction. But, Kimbers clearly don't like me.

Once they get settled in at Troy, I may try a Bama Kimber.

One easy test to see where they stand on gun issues is to ask them if the carbonated sweetened beverage they are drinking is called soda or pop :)

It's also 1,000 miles away so even if they did, it's a big change for people willing to move. Also wage adjustment might be implemented.

If they're from Upstate, I'm sure they can handle them. It's the scrapple that shows up when you go west a bit that's scary.

For all the crap I hear about Kimber, I enjoy the hell out of mine. Plus they make a really nice 6 shooter as well, from what I hear....how cool is that?
I wish them luck in 'Bama

Still are pretty though. But yes, that's the extent of my appreciation of their guns. Pricey, pretty ornaments.
