Not a huge Kimber fan, but they do make a solid 1911 series of handguns. I like them well enough.
Kudos to them for unassing New York State!
Were any of the former employees offered jobs at their new location? I kinda feel bad for the employees when a company moves. Note, I said kinda.
Glad to see it. Don't let tax dollars go to liberal regimes.
Just up the road from me, they'll like Alabama.
Very good decision. Almost certainly lower taxes, lower labor costs and far more 2nd Amendment friendly. Win win. Don
The downside is.. if they allow the employees to move with them.. They will be bringing that CANCER ideology with them and then will start trying to turn AL into the ****-hole that they left behind...
Took them long enough to get out of New York

NY is not business friendly.
You do realize, that there are people in New York who make Rush Limbaugh look like a flaming liberal? HH
Maybe they can move their front cocking serrations into the dust bin of history while they're at it. Ugliest things I've ever seen on a pistol.
I've owned a few Kimbers with less than satisfactory results. I do wish them well in their new home. tom.
Kimber hit my crap list back when they were the factory service center for Mepro-Light Night Sights. I sent a bad rear sight to them and they sent it back (still bad) without so much as an explanation. I called and talked to some clown that just blew me off. I had to get it handled directly by Mepro-Light, with no drama. Mako is a much better rep.
I have one of their 1911s and it shoots very good, but they can go under for all I care.
Troy's shopping looks nice when you pass through on 231. I have heard there are problems there. 70% minority enrollment in the public schools. Hopefully this move works out better than the Remington move to Huntsville.
or maybe not. Since they’re probably gun people and all.
also, I’ll buy a black railed Kimber 1911 if it says Alabama on it
I wonder if Cuomo will tell them, "Good riddance!" like he did Trump. I think he will have lots of opportunities to say that to companies in the near future. Absolute moron.
Troy is a nice small town with a pretty good small college. Almost went there to play baseball. They will get a warm welcome as industry and good jobs are badly needed in the area.
none that are in power.
I was born and lived in Alabama for years. I was never aware the the New Mexico Jemez Mountains were that close.
