Experience this lady on stage and you'll never be the same.
Damn, but the girl can play!
I heard her a couple of years ago three weeks after giving birth to her first child and she blew the roof off the joint.

I have heard the name before but never bothered to take a listen, mostly because I am pretty picky when it comes to blues or music in general, I am not a fan of things with lyrics that I cant make out. Anyway gave her a listen. Gotta say thanks to you atlas, Loved all I have heard really dug it.

    Hey BEER,
Sabbath was, very early on, a blues band. Most every song has a bluesy vibe IMO - mostly coming from Butler and Ward.
War Pigs, Iron Man, Paranoid etc. all are bluesy to me.

that's news to me! "sweet leaf, "the wizard", "fairies wear boots", and all the rest do NOT register as blues with anybody else i know.

i'm more than willing to accept those songs as blues but i believe i'm the only one.

while we're on the subject of weird off the wall "blues" songs, does anything from m&m count? like '97 bonnie & clyde", or "kill you"?

i mean if you think about the overall tone and meaning behind most other blues songs those should count shouldn't they?

When I posted the link I heard a few minutes of her new CD streamed from the website. I didn't care for what I heard nearly as much as her previous releases. Check out "Still Making History" if you get a chance. She really put her heart and soul into that one.

ETA: Her CD titled "Comfort to the Soul" is my favorite.
