Anyone have any knowledge/thoughts on a good first bow for a 7 year old?

I'm thinking recurve for starters, especially since right now he's really into Lord of the Rings, and will dig the traditional bow. Also, I *think* it should last him longer, since it shouldn't be so sensitive to his draw length.

I found this one at Cabela's I'll have to go check out:

At 7... I would also be tempted to go recurve. Go to archery shop/range and ask the experts. Odds are kids outgrow bows fast. They may have a exchange/consign program???
One nice thing about most compound. You can adjust both length of pull AND draw weight. So they don't outgrow it quite as quickly.

I just bought a little bear bow from Bass Pro. She is almost 7 and just watched Brave, so I got her the smallest bow I could find. (8 to 12lb of pull)

She has really enjoyed it this past week.
