    Your best bet is to get a new keyboard. They are pretty cheap. Your only other option is to take it apart and clean it.

    Keyboards on notebooks are usually easy to change, what model do you have?

    If it is a Dell, There was a recall a year or 2 back (cant remember the details), the fix was not replace the keyboard but the motherboard. I had I couple co-workers go thru that.

    I generally break my laptop before I see weird problems like that. For example a laptop power supply hitting the laptop monitor does cause damage to the screen.

    They may have not issued a recall for this problem. They did issue one for the battery problem
