Check out Ken Lunde's photos and his notes at the end on photo technique.
    See: http://www.praxagora.com/lunde/firearms.html

I figured he uses Adobe Photoshop instead of Paint Shop Pro since he works for Adobe. He used an Olympus C 3030, then a Nikon D100 with a Nikkor 60mm macro lens, and has a Nikon D200 on order.

He has an outstanding firearms collection which is a pleasure just to view. Good thing he does not live in San Francisco or he would be selling them or moving.

Ken is a class act. I sent him an email the other day asking about hard chrome 1911s vs stainless and he gave a very detailed and thoughtful reply. It's a shame CA has such messed up gun laws... although it doesn't appear that Ken's collection is any worse for it (although I'm sure he could take some beautiful pictures of AR-15s if given the chance)!
