... Lest she apply something she's picked up hanging around with you. This is by Mrs. Arquebus, shooting at 7 yards with a Browning Buckmark wearing iron sights. Other than the basics of safe gun handling, she's never had a lesson in marksmanship. Worse still, she can do it on demand.

She was really disappointed with herself because she dropped two rounds; I told her that there are plenty who couldn't keep just half of those in the red, even with a lot of practice. She has no idea how envious I am of her natural ability.

    Good for your lady.:)

I love to teach females to shoot.
Most times they immediately shoot well.

good shooting. i think it's the DONTPISSMEOFF gene that gives women the propensity for marksmanship.

Congrats, you got a good one. Mine never touched a firearm till I brought her home and she too has the natural ability. Now we're teaching our kids. I'm one proud husband and proud father.

My wife naturally shoots better than me, and she doesn't practice.

In fact, she was in a private session with an instructor while I was over in the next bay wasting ammo, when I snuck over and asked the guy how she was doing.

"Better than you" he replied dryly.

I've been told by more than instructor that on average women are better than men.

My wife was afraid of guns when I met her. She took to shooting and self defense training like she had been doing it all her life. Now, I'm afraid of her; but I don't worry about her when she has to stay late at the office or go to the mall.

This young lady was doing so well, on her second day of shooting, I told her,
"You are making this shooting stuff look way too easy. Shoot left handed for a while".

    And she did.

    Excellent.

Like Arquebus12's wife, some ladies just take to this shooting stuff.:)

I had a thread about this girl a little while back. She is a friend of my friend's daughter, who asked me if I'd teach her to shoot. My friend's daughter has been shooting a few months and also is very good.

Shortly after the above picture I asked her if she would like to shoot the Texas concealed carry qualification course.
She had not shot a 45 yet or shot beyound 15 yards or shot timed fire. The course is 50 rounds, 3 to 15 yards, 1 to 5 rounds, 2 to 15 seconds.
The girl shot a few magazines with the Kimber at 7-10 yards. Then I ran her through the course.

She shot a 242/250. (excellent for someone's second day of shooting)
