I want to get like 3 or 4 more mags for my 19 and I have noticed sites selling these cheaper KCI mags. Are they a good buy?? Good quality? I like keeping with name brand but if these mags are a quality product than why not. Thanks.

I've got the Kahn mags, both the G17 and G18 (full metal lined) and have never had an issue with either. IIRC the FML KCI mags were just a good or better. The last ones I've seen lately were the non-lined mags, (can't remember which brand) and they seemed to have some issues.

The only reason to use KCI is for the cost / you get more mags for the same cost. My KCI 17 and 19 mags have been 100% YMMV

kci mag I have seems to work fine.

Mags aren't super complex. The difference between the KCI mag and the Glock mags I have is that the KCI mag has a tiny tiny mold mark on it, where the glock mag is perfectly smooth.

Except for that, and the "KCI" logo, indistinguishable.

You'll find that there are people that recommend Glock mags only. I tend to agree for carry, use factory. For people like me though that cant always afford Glock mags, KCI/Kahn are great for range use and practice. I have a few KCI mags in .40 including the 31 round ones. The 31 rounders are awesome but I did have to put a stronger Wolff spring in them to get them to feed fast enough for the slide to pick the rounds up.
    YMMV

No issues with the Kahn. However I now have 12 17-round OEM Glock mags for my 34 so I never use the Kahns anymore.

I wouldn't be comfortable with them for carry. This may be totally unfounded but I still sleep better with OEM.

Never had tried them but you can get FML KCI marked floorplate for $9.99, maybe cheaper if you look around.

My KCI ran about 6k before I felt a spring change was needed. Review here. Springs changed to Glock on my 3 KCI mags. Run them at the range, IDPA and also USPSA. They work fine. For <50% of Glock price, I'd say yes. Any more, and I'd just get the Glock mag. Doubt I'll buy more.

Glock mags if you're going to CC. KCI are ok for target/plinking.

Good to hear all these good reviews on the KCI mags. I got a good buy on 3 G20 mags from Midway (with the glocktalk email discount), but for my upcoming G19 and G23, I'll have to pick up a few.

I have seen posted by others that the .40 mags are not as good as the 9mm mags. I only have KCI 9mm mags and they have been 100%.

CDNN has them on sale for $7.99 this weekend, with $5.99 shipping only, plus a free item I think. Thats for the G19 & G22 Asian mags.
