So one radio time slot is getting some here all worried about Russia.

What about the US education system and broadcasting entertainment industries pushing their indoctrination?

Just go take a quick look here:
https://www.msnbc.com/ - 50% liberal opinion garbage, the other 50% liberal opinion with some facts.

https://www.rt.com/usa/ - what I would expect from news.

Our media is PATHETIC. I take in all news with a critical ear but I do not hear the biased language in those sites I do with the likes of CNN and MSNBC. Fox also has a slant which mostly seems to be toward the status quo Republican position.

The only thing I have seen Putin do I do not like is be too close with bad countries in the middle East but what do you expect him to do? He is not left with much else to trade with and they are right on his doorstep. We are far from innocent there either.

The fact that you don’t hear slant is by design. It’s a populist message, written to appeal to everyone, or at least as many people as possible. The fact that someone here is defending Putin is all I need for proof of message concept.

If you keep listening, the message will slowly start to bend, and the sooner or later, they will have fractured the country even more with political divide. You, and many, many others are being sold on an image that doesn’t exist. Simply stated, Putin is our enemy, and he has every intention to destroy us.

I do not see anyone defending putnin. I do see valid critigue of the us media.

As to not seeing left bias propaganda in the us media, that is more example of how successful the left has indoctrinated many.

I find the us media BBC and DW as leftist globalist propaganda organizations.

Well, I check the facts of every article and watch for slant. There is plenty in US media, little to none in the stuff you are concerned about. Yes, they give the other sides perspective which I am interested in hearing. You cannot come to an agreement if you don't know how they see it. Your attitude will keep Russia your enemy forever I would rather figure out a way to work with them.

Do you believe they are inherently bad people that can never be friends of the US? Do you think our current "friends" will be loyal forever.

Everyone does what is best for them, if you want them to work with you you have to make that the best course of action for them. Or you can make them your enemy.

China is a huge problem that needs to be dealt with. There is nothing wrong with the people but their government has to go. It would be much easier with Russia's help, same with Iran.

I in the ~30 years I have been taking in politics/propaganda none of it has swayed me from believing Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness so I don't think it will happen now.

My observation description of the video. The RT video apparently was during the Obama administration.

Many in the US have made a similar critique of the failed Obama mid east foreign policy.

Pretty descriptive. Result in destabilized mid east , formation of isis. Not really covered by the Obama friendly US MSM.

His spin was about the motivation of mercenaries and used old Soviet Marxist Leninist rhetoric of imperialism.

I had no problem discerning what was spin what was description of events.

Note: I am not defending or supporting Putin. I also am aware that he was KGB.
