Kahr Question

    Can anyone tell me the differece between the PM and MK and CW are

    Check out the Kahr page on wikipedia. MK is the stainless framed version of the PM. The CW is slightly larger than the P. Yeah, I find Kahr's models kinda' confusing and stumbled across the chart on the wikipedia page a couple months ago.

    If the model has a K it is steel frame. If it has a P it is polymer.

    MK9 is the micro steel 9mm

    PM 9 is the polymer micro 9mm

    The CW9 is the same as the P9 midsize but it is the bargain model with some cheaper features. Pinned front sight vs. dovetail. Slab cut slide contour vs. machined round edges. Standard rifling vs. polygonal.
    Most of these won't make a difference to the average person so you can save $200 over the P9.

    The PM is the easiest to carry since it is so small and light.
