Practicing for Shreveport today and witnessed one first hand. Not very pretty.... but could have been a lot worse. G35 set up as an unlimited gun with Golden Sabres, once fired brass and a moderate, but not hot, charge of Universal Clays. A much different sound, blew the mag out of the gun and split it about 1/2", turned his hands black and locked up the gun. When he got the slide back the piece of brass looked pretty bad and blew out in the unsupported area. No damage to the gun and it ran OK after that.
