I won a Taurus 24/7 OSS .40. Haven't shot it but it's got a nice feel to it. Anyone have any experiance with these?

It's got a lifetime warranty and you didn't pay for it, how could you go wrong? I've always had good experiences with Taurus revolvers.

Wouldn't ever see myself buying one but I sure wouldn't turn down a free one.

Looks nice. I have no first hand experiences with Taurus autos, all I hear on here and most other forums is bashing.

Hope it works out for you!

Just a couple of musts with the Taurus. Clean it GOOD, then keep it lubed. Plan on at least a couple hundred rounds, maybe more before it's broken in, and don't get discouraged during break in. Hey, Kahr requires break in, too, as do a lot of guns. Sometimes you just have to send one back, but customer service is pretty good, I hear. I've had two, the 709 Slim 9, and the 738 TCP .380. 709 was a pretty good carry gun, but I just never got used to the fact that it was as small as it was. Pretty dumb since that's why I bought it, but it just wasn't comfortable for me to shoot. The little .380 has turned out to be my all-time favorite pocket gun and I was ready to throw it away at about round 150. Smoothed out after that and I still feel a little undergunned with it (I like my G27 or G30) but I'm comfortable carrying nothing but the TCP. Congrats on your gun.

Congrats on the win! I just got a Taurus catalog from a local dealer, and that was the pistol that I liked best!

    Don't shoot it!

You can get more money for it in the "unfired" condition.

Yes, sell it immediately or trade it in on something that is actually good. There's a reason they didn't raffle off a Glock, M&P or Sig 229--they raffled off that abortion because no one buys them and they sit on the store shelves.

I did for a secound think about keeping it. Now it's for sale. I've listed it for $400 but would take less.

When you say you won it......you actually won it, like for free or you won an auction on gunbroker?
