So I pop in to a local pawn shop and see a G26 in the case. I wasn't really planning on buying anything, just snooping around but jeesh....this thing looked brand new. The box, mags, owners man. etc.. all there.after a little haggling, i leave with it. I can't wait to get it to the range and see how it does. Should be a fun little gun!

I'm not a big fan of the 9mm round but it's better than the .380 and I like the 10 round capacity. Should make a nice back up for my G20 until I get a G-29SF.

Great find!

I found a "used" G26 at a local hardware/sporting goods shop. Still had the gold colored grease on the inside of the slide. It had been fired, but probably less than a box of ammo. Otherwise it looked like new. I couldn't pass it up for the price - $399.

Enjoy it, I sure enjoy the heck out of mine!

Congrats! Even if you get a G29SF down the road, the G26 is still worth hanging on to.

So what did you pay for your G-26 if you don't mind my asking?

And I agree with the other poster who predicts you'll end up carrying it more than you anticipate.

What's up with that "gold stuff"? It was all over the inside of my slide as well. Do you have a good recommendation for an OWB holster? I'm a big dude and don't care for IWB.
In addition to being anti-seize its presence is also a good indicator that the gun has not been shot very much. Hoping you enjoy your (nearly) new G26.

I always say, "it's not what you buy, it's how much you paid for what you bought". Therefore, congrats and share the cost! I always get excited when people score great deals.

The dealer by me is selling a double action only Beretta PX4 Storm .40 for $360. This pistol is in like new condition. The only problem its double action oppose to single/double like my .45 Storm. Other than that... This pistol would've been my early Christmas gift.
