Added a 42 to the herd. 150 rounds of Sig Elite. One primer failure not the 42. Very happy with the purchase. Love the size and accuracy.

The Glock 42 is an excellent choice for a small gun. Enjoy it!

Congrats on the purchase. Proud owner here. Almost 1000 rounds and zero failures. In my pocket all the time now.

Love mine. I actually appendix carry it. Had it out two days ago. 9 straight head shots at 25 yards. Not something I normally do but felt like it. Regular oem titrium sights. Not a failure yet but only 400 through it

Congrats on your new G42. I love mine, though I don’t get to shoot it much because of the cost of .380 ammo.

Definitely on my short list for new purchases...
Not in love with .380acp, but I hear that they are flat shooting, minimal recoil, and can't beat the slim/small design.
I'll keep posted for your range report!

I carry mine around the house in the evenings and on weekends. I bought a Kramer Leather BTW and I clip it between my belt and my pants at 4:00.

Kinda half IWB and half OWB. It's very comfortable in that concave area on the side of butt cheek.

I recently sold a NIB G42 for less than $350. All my pistols are now 9mm.

I love my G26.5 but the 42 weighs half as much and thinner. I’m happy with both. No regrets.

The G42 is one of my favorites which is something I never really suspected when I initially tried one out because I don't really like the 380 that much, but it shoots so good that I can look past that. I ended up putting night sights on it, a TLR6 light and use the HYVE +1 and +2 extension.

Love mine. The right ammo and its shootability, very few minis can even come close.

Looking forward to adding one to my Glock stable.... getting a G42 from a forum member, and will report back after a range session with it.

It'll give me another option with my current G19 and G26 pistols

They are great guns but I've had a hard time finding hollow points that feed without problems. Runs 100% with FMJ.

IMHO, the most accurate Glock pistol out there. It is amazing just how tight a group these little pocket Rockets will shoot. And carry size wise, just right. The G42 is an amazing little pistol, even though it just a .380.
Hornady XTP's rock from these pistols, too. Try some, and you will know why I call the G42 a "Pocket Rocket"!

Some folks think that FMJ is the way to go for defensive use with a .380... as penetration with a .380 is marginal, so why risk penetration in order to get expansion?
I'll likely utilize FMJ ammo when carrying my G42
