Thanks guys. It's a black RTF2. Also, my dad was a torture tester for Glock they first came out.(filling them with sand and baking them in the oven, stomping them, throwing them, etc.) He liked them so much he has never NOT owned one so Glocks are nothing new to me, this is just the first one I have personally owned. Still, I might fire off a few rounds in the backyard to get us acquainted.

BTW, I paid $398 before taxes with an LEO discount.:tongueout:

I have one, like it much but, as others had stated, this will not be the last one. Epidemic started.

    Blessings,

Shot my G23 RTF2 w/ns for the first time yesterday. Did the 25 cent trigger job, added both the ext slide release and lock. !00 rounds of reloaded ammo..Shots great and no FTF or issues..Love this fine gun..

Congrats on owning a "celebrity" Glock.

The RTF2 is really a nice grip texture in my opinion. The gun doesn't move around or feel it might with all of those so-called polymids on the grip.

I agree. It has a much more solid feel to it than my dad's gen 2 G23. I just fired a few rounds out back to get a feel for it and it didn't budge at all. These next few days are going to feel like an eternity. I can't get to the range till Sunday.:sigh:

congrats on your new Glock. Head west this Sunday to Pearlington and you can really test it out at our USPSA Match.
When is the second one coming? I have done business with those folks over there as well. They handled my GSSF purchase.

I would love to check out the USPSA match, but I have some some shooting to do that's not really conducive to a match setting. I have to sight in my new scope on my Savage, diagnose a FTRTB on my dad's G23, and show some new shooters the ropes.

When is the next USPSA or GSSF match within driving distance of Jackson Co. after this weekend?
