Anyone try these before? Pretty dang good. I used some bbq rub for seasoning....delicious. I love chips but they don't love me, so that's why I tried em. Cured the chip hunger right off.

Easy, preheat oven to 350, cut leaves away from the main leaf stems, tear into bite sized pieces and wash in lettuce spinner, place on parchment paper and drizzle with small amount of olive oil and a sprinkle of salt or dry rub. Bake for about 15 minutes or until edges start to brown a little. Nice treat to have around. Curly edges up on the baking sheet, catches the oil and rub better.

Thanks - sounds good. I wonder if it would work in my food dehydrator?

My wife has made them many times... nice healthy snack, but when she bakes the kale, the house sticks to high heaven!

Agreed, baking them is akin to steamed broccoli.

My buddies wife makes them a lot. She keeps trying to get us to eat them at poker night. IMO, they are disgusting. I don't mind healthy snacks, just those things.

Mrs. Hummer fixed them Tuesday evening with our steak dinner. Made them the same way, but sprinkled sesame seeds over them. I like them.

Baked kale chips with sesame seeds, and some fresh garden cucumber.... Along with bacon wrapped elk steaks, it's what's for dinner! :grill:
