its a dumb idea, most people dont want it.

I knew however this BS was coming from glock.

A: it adds extra parts for failure / loss

B: it add a hand pinch point.

It just keeps getting better, don't it?
Can't blame them when it's such a selling point or advertising catchpoint for the M&P, XD, and even 1911s with their interchangeable backstraps.

Only because the (current and older) Glock grip configuration and angle fits my hand perfectly can I say that I am less than enthused by this development.

I hope that it is a more durable design change than the SF style ambi-dextrous magazine release for the sake of those interested in this new iteration of the Glock design.

Whether it is true or not about Glock I have no idea; however, JR from Lonewolf announce they are making adjustable gripped glock lowers in the Sponser section here on GT. $200 should be out before the glock ones are.

I think it would be a nice addition to the Glock family. I've always loved Glocks but, I never liked the thick hollow back strap on the G20 and G21 series pistols.

I know that Glock has the SF versions but, I do see people here, having problems with them.

I do like the exchangable grip feature on my Walther P22.

I'm with you on that one.

I on the other hand was not expecting that!

Guess now it's going to take up to 36+ parts to assemble a GLOCK.

God I hope that it will only be an option [like the SF/RTF models] and not a standard - all models eventually replaced by it.

Glock should do something to match the competition in that sense.

I think Glock should stick with what they were good at, producing a fine weapon and not trying to do what other companies are doing. Sooner or later it catches up to you, quality starts to suffer and more and more people complain.

If most people don't want different size grips on Glocks why are there so many Shops doing grip reductions? I like the idea myself as I like my Glocks except I have small hands. I have to adapt to the grip rather than the grip adapting to me.
I would love a flat back strap in stead of the hump.

We'll just have to wait and see if this is for real.

If Glock does produce this and some users benefit from it then that is great. I will always stick with the second gen Glocks, have several with thousands and thousands of rounds through them and have been beat to death and they are still going strong.

    Can't argue with perfection.

Honestly, its about time. When it does, I will either get me one or trade my g21 to get one. That is the only beef I have ever had about my glock. It fits me ok and I shoot it great, but It just needs to be smaller.

If they do it as a simple change it will be alright. Instead of the grip cavity, they need a "T" channel molded on the backstrap. Then they need different backstrap humps with a "T" rail. They need to hold it in with one pin across the bottom like the mainspring pin on a 1911. They could even make it the same polymer pin that holds the ejector housing in.

Then the SF can become extinct.
