Teeth of the Tiger by Tom Clancy The Burma Road by Donovan Webster Teeth is typical Clancy. Unfortunately, it is predictable thoughout and the plot is downright silly. For some reason Clancy has a fascination with the S&W 1076 10mm pistol. I don't know what he has been told about the 10mm but his protaganists use of it doesn't make much sense IMO. I highly recommend this book for it's entertainement value while listening to it in the car on CD or tape on a long trip or commuting. I wouldn't waste my time actually reading it. The Burma Road is an interesting non-fiction book about the CDI i.e,. China-Burma-India theater of operations during WWII. The author follows the construction of the Burma Road as a backdrop of the allies backwater war against the japs. It follows Gen. Joe Stillwell (Vineger Joe) and his controversial handling of this theater of operations. It really is a fascinating account of little known part of the war. I highly recommend it. It is available on CD and tape as well.
