Put around 300 rounds thru my new Kahr CM9 this afternoon.
Had a issue with it I've never seen or heard of before and I've
been a gun nut since I was 6 years old.
The first 150 +/- rounds, every single magazine fired,
regardless of the round (115 gr WWB, Blazer Brass, Win Nato,
115 gr Critical Defense, 135 gr Critical Duty, 147 gr Gold Dot,
147 gr Hornady XTP, 124 gr Gold Dot) the trigger would not
fully reset on for to last round. It was in full battery
and mag fully seated. If you put your trigger finger behind the
trigger and just barely touched it, you'd hear it "click" and it
    would fire.
At right around 150 rounds, I broke it down and cleaned it.
Back out to the my range and again, 1st magazine fired it did
not reset the trigger after the second to the last round was
    fired.
Then, on the next mag and every single mag after that, it
shot every round and locked back on empty. Again, didn't
matter what round I shot, it ran perfectly.
When Kahr says to put at least 200 rounds thru their product
before putting it on your EDC list, they weren't kidding.
Anyway, I love this CM9. Wife does too. I'm going to pick me
up another CM9 or a PM9 as soon as I locate one.

I love these guns (CM/PM9) mines a CM but theyre the same thing except for the polygonal rifle and the cosmetics
And I prefer the simpler look of the CM

I picked up a PM9 a couple months ago. No problems at all with it. Wife now carries the CM9. Glock screwed up
waiting to put out a single stack 9 IMHO.

I've never been a fan of the plastic Kahrs, personally. However, many seem to like them.

    Thanks for the report.

I love my CM9. I have added nights. We have never looked back (my CM9 and I).

Well folks, the Glock 43 unseated the CM9 as my favorite ultra conceal pistol [IMG]

IMG_1228.jpg IMG_1228.jpg In December my LGS had a terrific sale on and traded my Ruger LCR for a CM9. I wasn't shooting this revolver well and was looking for a good pocket bug. I have owned M&P shields but too big for pocket carry. Held the G43 with the same result. My LLGS grave me a straight up trade LCR for the CM9. I spotted a PM40 in the display case and bought that for $300 out the door. After cleaning both guns, took them to the range for a break in for the CM9 and test fire of the PM40. CM9 fired 250 rounds flawlessly and I was surprised by very manageable recoil and accuracy. The PM40 is a 2006 but was taken care of and my LGS insures functionality. The PM40 recoil was a bit on the strong side for me, I'm not recoil sensitive, owning nothing but Glock 10mm's and G23 and G27's using my own loads. The PM40 was accurate and functioned well but the recoil was uncomfortable. I have ordered another recoil assembly for it and anticipate that that new springs will tame it enough for carry. The CM9 is now in the pocket every day. i am attaching a picture of my 1st target using the 9. I spent the 1st 100 rounds getting used to the trigger, really smooth, and the next 150 for accuracy from 10 yards.

In addition to my glocks, I have those two exact pistols. I'd like to know how the other recoil assembly works out for you as my appraisal of those two pistols mirrors yours. I came to terms with the PM40 was what it was due to tiny size and 40 cal Ammo!

I would not mind the PM40 being a little more comfortable to shoot.

I'll post a range report next time out with the PM40 with new recoil assembly is installed. I fired the PM40 after 250 rounds with the CM9. I need to put a death grip on that little gun but in fairness I was shooting my loads that are strong. 155gr at 1250 Ft/sec out of a 4 inch barrel. I will more than likely down load a number of rounds for use in the PM40.
