I know better ... I KNOW BETTER!
Always use the BIO flash utility or boot up a DOS diskette.
However, I was trying to get Hyper V to work on my AMD Athlon X2 6400 and it kept saying that virtualization isn't enabled.
So, a visit to ASUSTEK ... always a pain  and there's a BIOS up date that enables AMD V.
Happy lad so far.
Download the .bin file after 27 tries (server is busy) and fire up ASUS Update ... in Windows Server 2008 x64!
See where this is going?
Tried to flash, got an error and the BIOS is toast.
Dug through 90 pages of ASUS stuff, come across one little note: Windows Update won't work in x64.
ARRRRGGGGGH!
Just ordered up a new PLCC from BIOSMan.
It's my own danged fault. I was in a hurry.
