It's beautiful! This rifle is in excellent condition and is the prettiest AK I've seen - the furniture looks great!

The only thing I noticed is that there are a few chips off what I think is the piston. (This is my first AK so I don't yet know what all the parts are called.)

    Is this a problem?

This one set me back $600. I've heard that's more on the expensive side, but I hadn't seen another AK that looked this good so I was willing to drop more money on it. I just love the way the Yugos look.

My only gripe about my B1 is the stock tends to knock the crap out of my cheek. The stock has a colmb on it other AKs don't have. Other than that it is built like a tank. You now have to save and get a B2 folder to go with the fixed stock.

    Congrats on the new rifle!!

My Yugo has been %100. When you fire it with the grenade launcher up, it turns the rifle into a "bolt action".

The 100rd drum is a nice addition as well.

I had my Yugo refinished in "HK semi-gloss black".

Very nice! If the Yugos had chrome lined bores I would have jumped on one way back!

Why would that stop you from owning one???

Have you ever seen any bolt action rifle with a chrome lined barrel???

Even the so called "cheap" Romanian AK's are chrome lined. The Russkies chrome line barrel and gas block . They dont just do this on a whim. I never understood why the Yugos were the only ones not to?? Chrome lined barrels arent available on bolts, but if 90% of the bolts came standard WITH chrome lining...I wouldnt be very tempted by the one that didnt.

Chrome lined barrels are way overated, yes it aids in cleaning especially with corrosive ammo which now days isn't very common. The standard non chrome will out last probably what you & I will be able to afford to shoot through it. :whistling:

Very nice. I like the fixed stock over the common Yugo underfolders. The wood furniture looks great.

I agree. Probably the nicest M70B1 that I've seen. Looks like the wood might have been refinished.
