I really like that ammo.
Shot this one last night...
Sold my G42 also. Have a new G43 USA model coming Saturday.
Who would have ever thought I'd become an all 9mm dude? I'm doing it though.
It will make my world a little easier.
You will certainly be saving a lot of money on ammo.

indeed. I'm trying to replicate what I had with the G42 and G27. I know it's a little different, especially the G43 being larger and heavier than the G42, but hey, it's a pretty close match to my former G42 and G27 situation. But with the same ammo.
Anyone know if they are gonna release gen5 models in the rest of the lineup?

How’s the recoil of the 26 to the new 48/43? I’ve had 26&27s in the past and I actually like how they feel in the hand.

I might have to take another look at the G26, now that the finger grooves are gone. I have a PPS M2 for my slim 9; feels better to me than the 43. But the 26 has more capacity. And then there's the 48. I will have to see which one I like better. The 26 makes sense once I am out of CT, then I can get non-neutered mags for it.
I've never fired a 43 or 48. My 43 is coming Saturday. But I love the G26/27 big time!!!
I have a 26 and a 43. I pocket carry the 43 in the warmer months and IWB the 26 in cooler months. I had a 42 and was OK with it but I feel better armed with a 9mm. The 42 is marginally smaller and lighter than the 43, but not much. I think you will be pleased with the 43/26 combo. You might even add a 19.
OK, I gotta ask. First, I have been staying away from gun shops for a while. My G26 is like yours, no front serrations. I’m pretty neutral, I’m OK with or without front serrations. Not trying to start a war, just curious. Did you LGS have the G26 both with and without?
No worries. When I went to make my deal, my dealer only had one and it was the one I bought. Honestly I didn't even know the front serrations version existed. But yes, I'm happy with mine, either way, and I can't wait to own the G43 soon. I miss having the slimmer G42 for certain attire. And like you, I'm in Texas so the heat plays a role in how we can dress 7 months a year.
I have both G26 & G43, my most used guns i own. Both shoot really nice, extremely accurate!
The Sig 124 HP stuff works super good in ALL my 9mm`s. I like it better than the HST`s lately.
I actually just dumped my G43X last week. Just never worked good enough for me.
I’ll be interested in your experience shooting the 43 and how it compares from your 42 experience and vs the 26.
ive been debating selling the P365 for a 43...
I have both a 26.5 and a 48. I don't feel any appreciable difference in recoil, but the 48 is slightly more controllable because of the longer grip.
Not trying to hi-jack the thread, but i wouldnt give up a P365 for G43 no way.
I have a P365 as well, no way would i part with it, its that good of a gun.
Congrats on the gen5 g26. Had a gen5 g19 and gen3 g26 but sold them both for a gen3 Vickers g19 fde/rtf2. Plus I like my gen3 g23/g27 better.
I don't feel much difference in the recoil between the 26 and 48, like Pistolay above the full grip of the 48 makes it a little more controllable. I do notice a difference in felt recoil with the 43x, not unpleasant but I can tell the pistol is 3 or 4 ounces lighter than the 26.5/48.
I think it's a fantastic handgun. I don't have one, but have no doubt I'd feel familiar with it from the git. I did shoot a 27 one day. It was very much to my liking.
What I'm wearing determines whether I'm packing the 43 or 26. I can carry a G43 tucked in a remora while wearing light weight shorts.... the G26 requires a belt. Both are equally accurate at 5-7 yards... greater distances is where the G26 is the clear winner and with the Xgrip and a G19 mag, no need to tote around a spare mag. The G43 is a keeper too.... I tried the 43X and 48 and they didn't work for me.....
