I got a coupon in the mail for $100 off of a $500 purchase at Cabelas. I also had a $25 coupon and $65.50 in Cabela's Club Points. PLUS...The ammo was on sale for $250 for 500rds...well the Herter's 7.62x39 FMJ. But when I called they were out of it. So the guy said he would substitute Wolf Military Classic ammo and include the 4 free ammo cans with it...so I paid around $320 OTD for 2,000rds. plus the 4 ammo cans!! I'm pretty happy!

Now my Draco just needs to get here so I can blast away!

In the mean time my SKS's and AK will probably munch on some of it. ;)

Haha! It's actually already tucked away with the rest of my supply. ;)

The boxes are nice though...very big and roomy inside. I consolodated the packs so that each of two boxes holds a thousand rounds. I'll use the other boxes to store .22lr or some other goodies in.

    Thanks!

I opened a box up and I noticed the bullets themselves looked like they were polished! But the casings, instead of being shiny and green were dull and grey (like my .223 Wolf)...was the green just the laquer or what? Anything else different about these rounds?

I know that pretty much every gun that uses this caliber feeds reliably with pretty much any ammo. I'm just curious if these rounds are significantly different from the other stuff I've been using?

    Thanks!
