Sounds good. Maybe we can find the most central meeting place to the majority of the Florida Glockers. Glocks, BBQ, and family, sounds like a good time.:wavey:
Some people love it and some hate it. I've been there a number of times and attended a sigforum shoot there. The locals seem to get pretty pissed off about a large group of people there. There's a public range in the Ocala National Forest.
Never been there...but I've heard mixed things about it.
I would be interested also if it's in the Central Florida area. Is this still in the works? Some people love it and some hate it. I've been there a number of times and attended a sigforum shoot there. The locals seem to get pretty pissed off about a large group of people there.
I would probably be game for a meet and greet if it wasn't too far away from me.
After looking at the list of outdoor ranges in the state, I think this is the best facility and the most central to everybody. Between Tampa and Orlando, and central to Jacksonville and Naples/Ft.Laud.There is another one in Lakeland, http://www.tenoroc.us/ if that is more central to the group.
Actually that looks quite nice.Saddle Creek might be a better choice, it is close to tenoroc and they have a picnic area. We could do some kind of lunch then go cook some rounds off @ the range. Price wise it is cheaper 5 dollars vs. 10 (hey every penny counts nowadays) I can talk to one of the RO there Bob he seems pretty cool and I have never had any issues, well not including the armadillo that like to cross the range while its hot.
