Well, it has been a few weeks since I made a range trip. Since then, I had a few new acquisitions. Since one of them is a 1911 and two others are 1911ish, I will post this here. First up was the Ballester-Molina. For being a 61-year old Argentineaen .45, I was really impressed. It was very smooth and accurate. Like wise was the 1967 Commercial Colt Government. As a Colt should be, it was rock solid. The STAR Model B was really surprising. It is one of the smoothest 9mms I have ever shot. The 1911 design works very well for this STAR. Lastly was the Norinco Model 213 9mm. Although it was not as stellar as the STAR, it is a nice 9mm. Definitely a good buy. JR
