    They will.

There's no way they can make that authentic in a PC enviroment.

    +1,

They'll muck it up with some politically correct liberal touchy feely
agenda in a covert attempt to further our leftist indoctrination.

Funny, I just re read that last week. I hate to think what they will do to it. For one thing, they will put clothes on everyone.

My kids love SiFi. I am going to make sure they read the books first. They will PC it to death.

If they do it right they won't need a big costume budget. But then this is disney.

Weird. I just read "Princess of Mars" again a few weeks ago. I had forgotten how good ERBs books hold up.

It's on the freebooks iphone app.

In the movie I wonder if he'll be able to restore the atmosphere generating machine/complex on Mars? Also it'll be interesting to see how they handle the various flying machines - ERB obviously struggled to explain complex flying machines and two way radios really threw him a curve. The Martian animals should be cool as well.

I look forward to seeing it myself, will have to break out some of my old Burroughs.

They will definitely screw it up though, those books are not at all PC.

Considering what they had to do to his Tarzan series, I wouldn't be surprised at the changes they will make to these books also. Edgar expounded some racist views in his writings.
