It seems that "1911" is really a veiled reference to Genesis 19:11.

This is a passage demonstrating what happens to infidels when they face the power of good.

Will all you pagans please send your 1911s to me (I will pay the postage) so you won't be offended?

And the Beretta M9 refers to The Gospel of Mark Chapter 9 which starts out: "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power."

The M16A4 obviously refers to the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 14 Verse 4.

The M4A1 is named after Malichi Chapter 4 verse 1: "Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire," says the LORD Almighty. "Not a root or a branch will be left to them.

Wrong. Everyone knows that the 1911 was actually a reference to Revelation 19:11, which reads:

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war."

And the G17 clearly refers to Genesis 1:17

"God set the stars in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth"

For we all know that when Gaston created the magic pistol, we were all shown the light.

It's worse than that... the .45 caliber gets its name from The Song of Solomon, chapter 4, v 5.

"Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies."

I thought I was the only person to recall that rifle.
My US Army Reserve unit in Gainesville, Fl had an armory full of them,
most rattled and looked pretty worn, but there were one or two that looked almost brand new.
    That was 1984 to 1985.
That sure brought back a few old memories.
