If Joe Biden were running against one of those toppled Confederate statues, I wager he would lose the debate.

Never let the facts get in the way of the truth.

Politifact also reached out to Biden campaign to see if it could cite any specific example of cannons being banned during the Revolutionary War. Instead of answering the question, the campaign simply resorted to boilerplate anti-gun talking points.

But the Biden campaign was unable to point to a specific law. “The vice president’s point is that to help end the tragic epidemic of mass shootings that is taking so many American lives, we need to ban weapons of war from our streets,” the campaign told PolitiFact.

    Weapons of war ...

Uhh, the "AR-14" that Joe so fears is a semi, shooting 5.56. The military does NOT, repeat does NOT, use the weapon.

    "But it looks scary!!"

Because of composite parts to make it much lighter and easier for the ladies and those with some physical limitations to use.

How long has Biden-time hated women and the disabled?

Pretty sure I read in Ben Franklins bio that he borrowed a cannon from the army for a trip. At least posession of a cannon wasn't illegal back then. Never has a gun control group referenced gun control back then either, I wonder why?

When referring to creepy Joe, the front page headline should be when he gets something correct (other than having hairy legs).

Fully operational muzzle loading cannons are still legal for civilian ownership. I know a guy that made a 25 mm cannon from a demilitarized barrel he purchased a military auction. He makes solid steel bullets, with a 1” copper plumbing cap for a gas check. It has a scope with a detachable mount. He can hit a 4X8 sheet of plywood at a mile.

Correct, so pretty much anything Joe says can be, and usually is, laughed at.

During the Revolutionary War private artillery ownership was encouraged. All those privateers had civilian cannon.

Of course you know why the Brittish wore red coats - so that the enemy couldn't see if they were hit and bleeding ....... the French wore brown pants for a similar reason.
