Jim Watson, a member here on GT was severly injured last night. See the news article at http://www.timesdaily.com/article/2...058/1011/NEWS?Title=One-injured-in-house-fire.

Jim's pelvis is separated from his spinal column but his spine is not severed and he still has feeling in his lower extremities. He was to undergo surgery today but the three surgeons that are going to perform the procedures have decided to wait until Tuesday to make sure Jim has no other internal injuries.

Jim is in Huntsville Hospital at this time.

I have never expressed publicly the extent to which I feel true justice for drunk drivers who do something like this should be Execution! At my age I would clean that part of the gene pool if a drunk did this to someone in my family. I would never even look back.

Drunk drivers are treated TOO lieniently.

This really sucks. If I recall correctly, this is the same type of injury that Travis Pastrana sustained in his big crash when he was young. That fellow made a strong recovery to come back and do some ridiculous things, and I hope Jim has the same fate. Anybody that hurt me, burned down my house, and killed my dog better hope they get substantial prison time.
