Bought on Gun Broker.Im told it is called a Jeweld barrel. It did not look like this in the photos nor was it described as jeweled on listing..When I picked it up at FFL I Freaked Out.What kind of person would ruin any Glock like this.Lucky I found a Gunsmith and for $70 dollars they fixed it. I can laugh now....
I've seen better jeweling on Glock barrels. If done right, they look kinda nice. But if you don't watch out, they start to rust or pit.
My friend polished his G21 barrel to a stainless color. It looked ok. They gun shot great. It was a shooter.
I have a "BX", I left it as is black internals and NDF mags.
Cadilacguns ...Your way is correct.A Jeweled Glock Barrel is VILE......
I know there are a lot of Glock collectors that disagree with me, but some jeweled barrels look good.
I think that my Talo Glock Premier Gold 23 is a beautiful Glock.
Glad you were able to restore it. Not sure why people don't buy a Lone Wolf barrel or some such and bling it up instead (jeweled, bedazzled, gold leaf), but keep the original in factory condition - it will be worth more if you ever have to sell it.
Agree 100 percent patcrad...
To each his own.But like patcrad said it will affect value in a negative way..
I have a very beautiful (all original) Gen 2.5 Glock 27 - with a stippled grip. Breaks my heart every time I take it out. Probably the only Glock I would ever consider selling.
HA HA DAM.... I have a 19 Gen2 cut down to a Glock 26 size grip and RMR Cut slide with a terrible stipple pattern. But I cover it up with grip tape and I must say I like the way it feels and looks.I put in a 33 round mag.It looks like something you might see in a movie.I call it my Mad Max Glock.Stil can't believe someone chopped a Gen 2 19 down.I will post some pictures in a couple of days patcrad....
