I was wondering if anyone had a jellyfish tank. I was thinking of buying one at http://www.jellyfishart.com/ and was hoping someone already had one and could let me know how they enjoy theirs.

Sounds like a pain, Have you ever maintained or owned a marine tank? If not, I would start with that first. I have a 29 gallon marine setup and it's very rewarding.

If an animal can't sit in your lap & be petted, or can't sleep in you bed, it's not a pet.

    It's art, or decoration.

Why can't you pet a jeelyfish (i.e., what we calls 'em round these parts) while it sits in your lap?

I used to give my fish a bath, towel 'em dry, and then lay them on my belly and pet them. The ones that didn't die loved it. Well, they never said anything bad about it.

I have a 12 gallon softy tank, and it's complicated enough. The little jellyfish thing? I don't think so.

I saw the coolest tank ever at The Mirage in Las Vegas. It was small tank that had a black background and a blacklight above. Inside were four or five jellyfish about the six of your palm and the blacklight made them iridecent. It was very cool and the contrast on the black was awesome!

Seriously, Judy and I have kept fish for years, and many are very interactive, even affectionate.

I had a ten year old fresh water angel fish die recently, that would allow you to gently stroke her with a finger, while in the water, of course.

People have oscars that ring bells for food...

We've had a clown loach for twelve years that greets us when we enter the room and takes his special pellet from our finger tips. His name is Loach Hi Minh...

That's Mister Rock Dove to you, sir!

His name is Bernie, and he has been my closest friend, alongside my darling wife, for the past 17-years... His 17th anniversary from the day I rescued him from traffic was in January. :hearts:

True story (or it was told as such) - a lady at the local Pet Smart has returned three fish to the store. The problem was her son liked to cuddle with them at night. (The son is about 4-5 I think, at the oldest).

I don't know how many fish they went through before they figured this out.

I also had a neighbor have a goldfish kamakazi out of a window. It was in a drinking glass while he cleaned it's tank.

    Ok Mr Rock Dove.

I had one years ago as a kid. He was a much lighter grey color. He fell out of a nest, hurt his wing. I had him for about a year. He was a nice pet. He flew away one day. I was always surprised how "hot" his feet were.
