Anyone ever own one? I always wanted to own a Honcho, but never did. Maybe I'll look around a bit.
I saw on in a little town just west of Duluth, mn. It wasn't that long ago. I thought "trucks have gotten soft since that was built'. I didn't have the rear fenders but the smooth side bed. But, it looked to be in good condition.
Maybe I should stop and talk to the guy...
I wish Jeep would bring back the Scrambler, and the straight by-God six.
I had a straight six in my old CJ5 Renegade...engine was a Renault!
Think my 95 Wrangler has a 6.
OP, nice pic.
I would love a J series truck. I looked at one before I bought my CJ7 but it was a pile of rust and that was about it. Good ones are very hard to find.
And my CJ7 has a real I6
I had a honcho. Burgundy with the orange Honcho badging. Me and the old man back in the day .....
That is how a truck should be designed and built. You could actually lift things into the bed.
Cool pic, Tailhunter!
Looks like the one that runs around here.
That's bad assed for sure
Being a huge Jeep fan myself, the J Series trucks are amazing. They are crazy tough, came with stout drivetrain and killer styling!!!
I almost cryed when the yellow J-10 was destroyed in the movie "Twister."
It's great, 3 names, 1 model with minor tweaks....
M715 Kaiser Jeep
Here is one for sale....
I like the old Scramblers. I'm not too sure about the Honcho but that's based only on styling. I do like the idea of this however:
That is beautiful. Is it yours. I wish Jeep would have produced the Gladiator concept, especially with a diesel power plant.
I don't even know anything about it. I just know that pics of it have been floating around in internet-land for a while. I imagine it's a concept vehicle. I'd like to see them roll it out for a decent price.
That's what the Unlimited should have been, not the overpriced monstrosity they built.
I had a Scrambler and loved it.
I saw something similar to this at Detroit auto show in 04' or 05'
