If you find yourself in a sticky situation just break out the jazz hands. Your assailant won't know if you're about to kiss him or kick his ***. Usually they run off in fear.

If it turns out your assailant is gay... well, at least you didn't die.

There may actually be some weight behind this.

Kind of like when someone points a gun in your face and you grab the barrel, shove it to your forehead and laugh like a loonie. usually they run off because you've freaked them out enough.

Imagine being robbed at gunpoint, and breaking out into song and dance to the tune of "i feel pretty" from west-side-story..then finishing with massive spirit fingers and a huge "YEAH!" whilst grinning like the joker..........i think you would be safe

I really think it could work! It would be better if you were with a group of friends and could do a perfectly choreographed broadway-quality version of Bohemian Rhapsody.

The Kevin Steele school of self-defense?

(For those who don't know Kevin Steele was the defensive co-ordinator for Clemson for three years. He had so many pre-snap adjustments that the players were always waving their hands around and looking lost. The fans called it the "Jazz Hands Defense.")
