Every year we try to get down to Jackson Hole at least once during the winter to get a good look at some huge bull elk. The reserve at Jackson currently has about 5500 elk on it. Last year was a about 6500 and in the past as high at 10 to 11 though. They generally manage it for 7500. About 25% of the elk are from Yellowstone National Park, about 50% are from Grand Teton National Park and the other 25% either live there year round or are from surrounding mountains. Here are just a few pictures. I got about 60 pics on digital and about two rolls of film. Enjoy!!!
