Russ and I couldn't make it today, will be there first thing in the morning tomorrow. I'm sure we missed some good friends, hope to see some tomorrow. So how did it go today?

Russ and I signed in (NO LINE) at 8:45, finished shooting at 10:45. Frank took plenty of pictures and Andy was a great RO at the plates.
The weather was great but the plates were again as in 2 years ago Under Water. We learned from that and brought flip flops and a towel, Frank was happy we were so prepared, saved him from getting wet.
Unfortunately Russ and I are rusty and it showed, I shot a 130.78

Hardly anyone there today early. Got there at 9:45 and was done shooting at 11:00. It was fun at the plate rack. I had to take off the shoes, wade in and shoot barefoot. Interestingly I shot a better score with my M30 in the subcompact division than my M22 in Am. Civ.

Shot Sat and it seemed to go slow. No one was really pasting (Only in Jersey) I did have good times on all the stages.

Shot at the Garand Match Sun at Jackson, when my buddy finished there he shot the GSSF around 2pm and no wait at all. Did two stages in under 5 minutes.

Well Sniper and I survived Friday the 13th AND a full moon weekend trip.;k The only trouble I had with my toothpaste was that it would not stay on the toothbrush.;Q

The range was great. Most of the RO's er great too, except at the one stage we waited over an hour and we had to tell him 3 times that we were there before he moved us up in the stack.:(

Sniper had a 124.xx which was better than Waldorf and I had a 273.xx which was a little slower....but I am still thrilled because now I know that it was not a fluke and I really can do it;a ;a (I will be patiently awaiting for the phonebooks ;i)

Thanks Fireglock for your words of wisdom and I hope you know you started something. I will be talking to you before every match from now on for advice.:) (You will have a little break....our next match will be Marietta in August)

i shot on saturday...i guess that was a good idea, considering the pics from sunday!

anybody else notice that the right plate rack was about 5-6 feet closer than the left one (the middle one looked like it was about 3 feet closer than the left)? i didnt notice until AFTER i shot (on the left rack).
