My brother bought one. It shot very low consistantly. He called IWI and emailed them. They took a long time to reply. But when they did reply , they told him to buy two different sights to make the pistol shoot level. They acknowledged that it does have a problem shooting low and that several other owners have called in reporting the same thing. They told my brother that they are trying to find a remedy for this. But this crappy thing is that they told him to go and buy different sights for this brand new gun that is faulty. They didnt even offer to send him a voucher for the new sights that they told him to buy. Very crappy customer service.

Yeah that’s pretty lousy, especially for a company trying to become relevant again in the handgun market.

The pistol is set up for 25 yards. I rarely shoot that distance in IDPA/USPSA with a pistol. I removed 0.012 from the front site and it is pretty good at 15 yards. I have also found a Dawson front sight of 0.195 to 0.205 to be good enough for these games. Remember, this is not a bullseye pistol.

I've read from a few other owners/posters on other sites, that SIG sights can be used as a replacement, however I've never been able to find in "print" which model? Have you had the same experience?

The Masada will accept Sig P series sights.
I really like the Ameriglo green front with black rear.
Below is mine with a Holosun and awaiting Talon grips.
For the $$ it is a great value.

I know this is months old but I'm looking at one a guy has for $425 which is cheap nowadays. Are the sights shooting low that big a deal?

Probably not for defensive purposes, but I’m sure it’s annoying at the range.

Its not a big deal, once you learn the sights.

the sights only shoot low for those who can’t grasp the concept of using three-dots sights system. Apparently the three-dots sight; which had been available since the 1980s, is too advanced for noobs.

for the rest of us, the gun shoots just fine.

I have to say my Masada's sights are dead on at 10 yards.

I recently mounted an Holosun 509t the "closed" emitter MRDS. I had some "work arounds" since the while it uses the RMR footprint, the plate needs much shorter screws & the roll pin for the extractor needs to be shortened. On the first attempt the screw was just a little too long, and as it passes through the extractor recess, well it ended up hitting the spring and after a few shots the spring broke. I'm just waiting on a new extractor spring, however this time with the extractor removed, I'll be able to get the length perfect. I had to order some new screws from Ebay, go figure. When it's done, I'm sure it will perform, it was pretty accurate @ 25yrds so far. More to follow.

Just another FYI while I think about it. If? you use an ultrasonic cleaner like I do, when you remove the trigger assembly, there is a small "clip" that fits into a slot in the frame that holds the takedown lever, if you flip the frame over in the tank, there's a chance this could fall out? mine did, and it ended up in the basket. It was easy to put back in though. The ultrasonic did a great job on the trigger mechanism and etc.

Oh and these shots were at 15 yards and yes I need to work at it.[/QUOTE]

If those groups were shot offhand as I suspect, you have nothing to apolgize, those are excelent groups at that range, that many rounds, no distant flyers. Don
