I downloaded an album from iTunes, and on several songs there is a skip, kinda like the old LP's when they got a scratch . Anyone know what may be causing that:headscratch::dunno:

Watching this thread Okie... I have the same issue from time to time, although mine are usually not exactly downloaded via iTunes. The more computer savvy folks in my office call it a glitch and to download it again, it usually works.

The worst part is when you burn it to a CD, play it in the car, and right during the part you are singing the loudest it skips and throws you off beat.:whistling:

Don't you have to buy it again if you want to redownload it:headscratch::dunno:

You should contact Apple's support. Under the Help menu in iTunes, there is a link to Apple Service and Support.

Are the itunes songs still DRM protected?
If not try playing them with another program.

My Itunes would do the same thing with songs that I ripped.
Updating the program, nor fresh install of it solved the problem.
The only fix was to use Windows Media player.

I have had it happen before, but not w/iTunes, I was using a cheaper download source...I suspect Apple will take care of you though, I imagine they would let you re-download it.
