Is there a way to give a bunch of songs sequential names, like Track1, Track2, Track3, etc?

If so, please tell me how... ;)

    You mean like renaming them?

I had a mix DJ CD that contained about 40 tracks and I only recognized them by track numbers. I just renamed every song Track 1, track 2, etc, etc.

Can you do that in a batch or do you have to do it individually?

Depends how you mean, and what purpose. It's just like editing a file name on a pc or mac if you're talking about one at a time. In iTunes, click on the name and click a second time so that it lets you change it and do so. If you are talking about doing a bunch at once you could do it before you import them, you'd just have to arrange them in the file in the order you want first, select 'em all, rename them all at once which will number them in order, and then import the files into iTunes

You could just make playlist with what you want if that's your goal.

There is also the option to get CDDB tracknames and name them whatever they actually are. It works most of the time for me. I think it's under the Advanced menu.
