One of my podcasts that I subscribe to recently changed their subscription url. Does anyone know how I can simply update the current subscription with the new url or subscribe to the new on and merge the old episodes into the new.

(keep in mind I don't know Ipod stuff from Pod People stuff.... )

    Kiddo says:

    1. There is no way to truly "merge" both podcasts.

    2. The way proceed - go to the "advanced" menu selection at the top of the Itunes sw interface, chose "subscribe to podcast" option. Do not delete the 'old podcast'

    3. Then copy and paste and paste the NEW URL into the window that opens, then click "ok".

    4. Download all the eps you want for the "new" podcast, and change the artist name (or album name) for both the OLD and the NEW podcasts to be the same name. That way when scrolling through, both old and new will appear together in the list.

He says this way it will work as "the same thing". (whatever that means ;)

Well, it all worked out okay. What I was trying to avoid was two seperate podcasts with the same name, which is what is displayed in iTunes. But on my iPod it is all recognized as the same podcast.
