I’m on a phone so no pictures but I got a cap, a tervis type cup, a lanyard, s&w sticker and a totally useless wristband. To tell the truth I was half as happy with the unexpected free stuff as the pistol.

You can't get here from there!
I carried my Shield 9 a lot over the past few years. The whole time I was wishing for a 4 inch model with usable thumb safety.

Well Glock came out with the 48 and I bought one of those. Then S&W came out with the 4 inch Shield but still no thumb safety with a real paddle.

I'm not sure why no aftermarket manufacturer will make a thumb safety with an enlarged paddle for the Shield but I have given up at this point.

I like my G48 enough that I'm no longer interested in the Shield. I also shoot it better than the Shield.

I'm not ragging on the Shield but I guess there's no pleasing me and I'm just going to stick with my G48.

    Regards,
    happyguy :)

I am a proud owner of a Shield 2.0 .45...... People were saying it's going to be extremely snappy having such a short barrel. I feel it is 110% manageable then again I rock a 357sig 20190929_174833.jpg

I'll trade you for one of my 9's if you're in/near Tennessee.

The 380 EZ is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated guns right now. Not only is it very easy to manage, but it's surprisingly accurate and has a very crisp trigger break.

My biggest beef with the 380 EZ is its very light reset, but that helps me concentrate on smooth and controlled trigger manipulation.

The Shield actually feels a bit too skinny in my hand but the .45 version is just a little larger which allows me to feel a little more comfortable with it....

I know, that’s crazy talk, right.

In all honesty, if the .45 shield was included in that rebate, I’d have already placed the order. I don’t really need another 45 either, but I do want one.

I am waiting for the 45 to go on sale, or the 2.0.

It then again, this might be the perfect pistol to put in storage for my daughter one day.

Yes, those in the picture do have manual safeties. But you have to actually read the terms, not just look at the pictures.

Multiple 9mm and .380 Shield models are included in the rebate - even those without safeties.

I shot a friend's 45scp Shield and was very surprised at how manageable it was. Almost bought one during the last rebate and now wish I had.

People go on about Taurus being a great gun at a low price.
I think these Shields are THE best bargain in the handgun world period!

The new 4" Shield has my interest. I've shot Shields and they do feel too skinny for my hand, but in 4" I may have to reconsider.....
